Email marketing

JD Mail

A corporate email campaign platform: lists, templates, editor, sending and reporting in one place.

— Screens

— The problem

Marketing and internal-comms teams rely on email to reach contacts, dealers and staff — but they usually do it scattered across contact spreadsheets, loose HTML files and tools that don't talk to each other.

With no version control for templates, no campaign standardization and no real visibility into what was delivered, opened and clicked, every send becomes a manual, error-prone effort, and measuring performance is hard.

— The solution

JD Mail centralizes the entire email campaign cycle: list and contact management, a library of category-organized, versioned templates, an editor with dynamic variables and live preview, the send itself, and performance reports covering opens, clicks, bounces and an engagement funnel.

It's a self-initiated technical project built as a showcase — the screenshots use the "John Deere" brand purely as demo data, not as a client. It builds on real academic work on email campaign delivery (PIC).

— What we built

  • A dashboard with the month's metrics — sends, open rate, click rate and scheduled campaigns — plus a weekly performance chart (sent vs. opened) and a donut breaking down sends by category
  • A template library in a table view showing category, version history (e.g. v2.3, v2.2, v2.1), the current version highlighted, last-edited date, total sends per template and use/edit actions
  • An email editor with identification fields (name, version, category, tags), a body with a formatting toolbar and dynamic variables like ${nome_contato}, ${revenda}, ${produto}, plus word and detected-variable counts
  • Live email preview in desktop and mobile views, showing the subject line, branded header and the body rendered with the applied data
  • Campaign reports covering sent, delivered, open, click and bounce metrics, an opens-and-clicks chart over the period, and an engagement funnel (sent → delivered → opened → clicked)
  • A per-period campaign table with sends, open, click, bounce and date for each campaign, plus a queue of upcoming scheduled sends with recipients, date/time and status
